Alpinum Botanical Garden
The Alpinum is a botanical garden with approx. 5000 different plant species from mountains from all over the world (Switzerland, Pyrenees, New Zealand, China, Nepal, Tibet, etc.). Come and marvel at what nature is capable to do on 1900 meters above sea level.

From mid of May to end of October, daily between 9am and 6pm.
Tickets
If you have a «Davos Premium Card» the entry is free. Otherwise it costs CHF 5.- per person, kids up to 16 years accompanied by their parents enter for free. Buy a ticket at the kiosk or at the hotel reception.

Winter Sledging Run
The Schatzalp is the starting point for the classic sledging run to Davos Platz. The wide, well prepared run is 2.8 km long and leads you via 18 curves through the magical woods of the Schatzalp down to Davos Platz. There are no charges for using the sledging run. It is ideal for children and beginners alike.

- 300 metres height difference to Davos
- Open from mid-December until the end of March
- Daily from 10:00 until 5:00
- Use of the sledging run is free of charge
- Floodlit in the curves every evening until 11 o’clock (not available)
- Sledge rental at the Schatzalp Funicular Station from 10:00 until 4pm
- Use of the sledging run is at your own risk
Summer Toboggan Run
Have fun, speeding down our over 500 meter long toboggan run. When reaching the end, you will be simply be brought up by a lift again. A fun adventure for the whole family!

Guided Tours
In the course of time. Schatzalp was opened in 1900, and patients paid a fortune for a place. At that time, the most modern luxury in art nouveau style. Thomas Mann described the life in the sanatorium in his novel “The Magic Mountain”.

The guided tours will take place from 2 March to 1 April 2021 every Tuesday and Thursday at 2.15 pm. Meeting point at the hotel reception. Registration necessary. The guided tour costs CHF 5 per person.
