Botanical garden – Alpinum

The Alpinum is a botanical garden with approx. 5000 different plant species from mountains from all over the world (Switzerland, Pyrenees, New Zealand, China, Nepal, Tibet, etc.). Come and marvel at what nature is capable to do on 1900 meters above sea level.

Hours

from mid of May to end of October, daily between 9am and 6pm

Tickets

If you have a «Davos Premium Card» the entry is free. Otherwise it costs CHF 5.- per person, kids up to 16 years accompanied by their parents enter for free. Buy a ticket at the kiosk or at the hotel reception.

Guided tours

Tuesdays at 10:20 a.m. in the Guggerbach Alpinum. 
Meeting point in the entrance area by the information pavilion.
Price for the guided tour CHF 12.-.
Good boots / shoes recommended!

Wednesdays at 3:30 pm in the historic Alpinum.
Price for the guided tour CHF 10.-.

Historic Alpinum, from 1 to 25 people approx. 1 hour CHF 250.-
Guggerbach Alpinum from 1 to 15 persons approx. 1 1/2 hrs. CHF 300.-

Thursdays at 5:30 p.m.
during the season changing with Gin & Absinthe
starting at from 4 persons CHF 39.- p.p.

Herbs private viewing

Fridays at 4 p.m.
Only with advance reservation from 4 persons
incl. aperitif and herbal snacks CHF 25.- p.p.

Meeting point for all events is the fountain on the south side of the hotel unless otherwise described. All events from 4 persons.

Kitchen Herb Garden

The herb garden came into being in 2013, thanks to the cooperation of the Kitchen and Garden staff alike. Since then the collection has multiplied to over 100 different types of herbs, which are used daily in the kitchen.
