ENTERING SWITZERLAND:
The Federal Council has decided on changes that affect the topic of entry. These changes applied Feb. 8, 2021.

Further below is the list of countries with entry restrictions. All neighboring country are only restricted from entry with quarantine with a few federal states.

SCHATZALP FUNICULAR:
We have reduced the maximum number of guests transported on the Schatzalpbahn to 16 per cabin.
Each of the three cabins is individually separated.
The journey takes 4 minutes.
The funicular runs four times per hour and twice in the evening from 7 p.m. until 12 a.m.
In case of high demand, we increase the frequencies in order to avoid waiting times and accumulations.
Train operating hours are from 8 a.m. – 12 a.m.

HOTEL:
Is your team regulary tested?
Yes, as team we think it is our duty to take care of all our and your health and therefore we joined the Company testing and our entire team from the Hotel and the Funicular get tested voluntarily at least 1x a week. This in not mandatory for our guests.

NEW from Monday 13.9 a Covid certificate is required in the hotel if you want to visit the indoor restaurants. Only your booked room is excluded from this.
Hotel guests will be asked to show their certificate and ID at the valley station of the Schatzalp funicular  and will receive proof of this.This remains valid for the duration of your stay and only needs to be shown in the Schatzalp restaurants. The SnowBeach terrace restaurant and the terrace of the panorama restaurant are excluded from this regulation.

What are the cancellation conditions?
Due to the current situation on COVID19, we have adjusted our cancellation policy.
Guests who have booked through a travel agency, online booking platform or other third parties, please contact your booking provider directly for any rebooking or cancellation requests.

What do I have to observe at the hotel?
The mask obligation applies in the hotel. The mask may be removed as soon as you are seated to eat or drink.

In our restaurants, a maximum of 4 adults may be seated at one table. Exceptions are families with children living in the same household. If you are traveling with more people, we will reserve several tables for you.

Is the sauna area open?
The sauna area is open. Access only with Covid cetrificate.

Is the bar open?
Yes, the bar is open. Access only with Covid cetrificate.

How can I have a meal/dinner?
Breakfast from 7:30 a.m. – 10 a.m. Access only with Covid cetrificate.

At lunch at the hotel, you can eat on our Snow Beach Terrace or in the lobby from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

In the evening, our Belle Epoque Restaurant is open from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Last seating is until 8 p.m. You can dine à la carte or book our half board menu for CHF 55.00 per person and day. A 3-course selection menu is served.

The Panorama restaurant is open throughout the day. Warm cuisine from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. from 24 October until 5 p.m.

The Snow Beach Terrace, the Lobby and the Belle Epoque Restaurant are open.

The interiors of the restaurants are only accessible with a Covid certificate.
WC access without a certificate only with a mask.

Who has access to the hotel?
The hotel and the restaurants are open to the public again.
Guided tours are again offered in groups for max. 25 pers.

Are restaurants open on the Schatzalp? Yes
– Restaurant Panorama daily from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.
– Restaurant Strela Alp 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (closed on Tuesdays)
– Restaurant Strelapass 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
– Kiosk Schatzalp at the cable car entrance from 09 a.m. to 5 p.m.
