The three novels STILLER, HOMO FABER, and MY NAME BE GANTENBEIN form Max Frisch’s main body of prose work. His oeuvre is considered the most important legacy of German-language literature of the 20th century. STILLER was published in 1954 and marked the author’s literary breakthrough.
